Job purpose
Vehicle technicians maintain and repair vehicles based on their specialisation and check the vehicle's technical systems as well as its attachments and superstructures. They also carry out repairs and equip the vehicles with additional systems and special equipment.
Main activities
Maintaining, testing and analysing mechanical, electronic, hydraulic and pneumatic systems and equipment in vehicles drive units, using electronic or computer-aided measuring and diagnostic equipment, checking compliance with road traffic regulations and carrying out test drives and exhaust gas measurements
